Petco Park is the new home of the San Diego Padres and was uniquely designed into the City of San Diego’s redevelopment district program across Harbor Drive from the San Diego Convention Center. The 1,140,000 square foot stadium seats 42,500 and incorporated 2,500 tons of reinforcing steel, 61,600 cubic yards of concrete and 9,500 tons of structural steel. The project was on a fast track schedule and afforded us the opportunity to demonstrate our ability to service projects that require a flexible approach to increased staffing needs. Petco Park received numerous awards including: AGG of California – Excellence in Project Management, AGC of San Diego – Special Award, Building Design & Construction Magazine Award and California Construction Magazine’s ‘Best of’ 2004.

We had a team of inspectors that included a Resident Inspector, three full-time inspectors and two additional inspectors for peak periods of construction.
